Denise P. Levine

I have been a therapist in private practice for almost thirty years working with all age groups. Some of the issues that I work with are anxiety, depression, grief, recovery, OCD and PTSD. I use kindness, sensitivity and openness in my work with individuals, couples and families. I use an eclectic approach with the focus being on the individual’s needs and issues. I have a variety of experience that I bring to my work. I am also an artist and use art as a therapeutic tool. I was the cofounder of The Healing House a meditation and relaxation center in upstate New York. I worked as a New York City public school teacher, a school based support team social worker and a program coordinator for The Mother Child Home Program for Project Even Start. I have also been a volunteer instructor in The Aging Mastery Program at Kingsborough Community College and was recently selected as one of The Brooklyn Women Of Distinction for 2017.
