Therapist Overview
I am a licensed clinical social worker and a graduate of the University of Michigan. I have worked as a clinical therapist with children, adults and couples for over 30 years, while supervising other clinicians for half of those years. I am trained in a variety of evidence-based practices, however, I have learned the best results come from being lead by the heart in a therapeutic relationship. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where strengths are identified as well as areas of need for growth. Together we will work to overcome obstacles that have been preventing you from achieving your goals. I invite you to call me and ask any questions that will help you decide if I am the therapist you want to see. My office hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays. All contacts are forever completely confidential. I have extensive experience and training with substance abuse and addiction recovery, including the 12-step approach. I appreciate and value spirituality, as each may experience it. I am aware of the inequity and challenges our society present to persons of color, and inspired by those with the courage to explore their racial, cultural and sexual identities.
