I am a licensed professional clinical counselor who uses a biopsychosocial model to individualize treatment to meet the needs of each client. This model takes into account the various aspects of an individual including genetics, self-concept, family historyand culture. I specialize in mentoring adolescents and adults (individuals and couples) who want to improve their quality of life and relationships. I am a seasoned therapist with many years of experience. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression and difficult life transitions such as relationship impasse, challenges with children and blended families, divorce, midlife and second half of life issues, grief and retirement. My therapeutic style is interactive, direct and compassionate. I am a skilled in a variety of treatment modalities. I find that many clients benefit from short term intervention approaches followed up with periodic appointments as needed.
