Chris has experience with and is adept at helping and educating families that are impacted by the family disease of addiction. As a man in long-term recovery, his life experience has motivated him to help others as they embark on their own journey in recovery. Chris earned his Associates Degree and his DARC Certification as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor from Gateway Community College and completed his internship at Connecticut Valley Hospital. As a member of the Recovery Services of CT team, Chris conducts clinical evaluations, develops individualized treatment plans with Clients, facilitates individual and group counseling and refers Clients for other needed services and aftercare. Chris’s mission is to motivate, inspire and to encourage freedom, equality and family values to any individual in need with the support of colleagues, family and friends.
