Therapist Overview
Chaise Marie Gies, M.S., has worked in the psychology and forensic field for several years. She has a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology. Chaise’s clinical expertise provides her with a strong understanding of the interface between psychology and the legal system (juvenile and adult courts), and has worked with individuals and their families experiencing custody battles, dependency petitions, juvenile offenses, and co-occurring clinical disorders (e.g., personality disorders, depression/anxiety, substance abuse, etc.) that often precipitate as well as perpetuate some of the challenges in these cases. Chaise is passionate in working with youth and adults, and their families, who find themselves at these crossroads. Chaise works directly with Dr. Tutty and as a team they engage in forensic interviews, testing (cognitive, personality, risk analysis), collateral interviews, and forensic reporting to the courts that often inform best interest recommendations. Chaise is a member of the Association and Family Conciliation Courts (AFCC) and adheres to those evidence based interview and evaluation guidelines. She is currently collaborating with our Park City team with new clients referrals undergoing both forensic (custody and personal injury) and psychological/neuropsychological evaluations.
