Therapist Overview
I am a licensed clinical neuropsychologist who enjoys helping adults (18 and up) develop the tools to cope effectively with life’s challenges. I combine my training in neuropsychology and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients identify barriers, challenge thoughts, experiment with new behaviors, and practice effective ways of reaching goals. I make it a point to meet clients where they are—I offer brief goal-oriented treatment to motivated individuals ready to jump right in, but I am also able to customize care for clients who are new to therapy, cognitively impaired, or skeptical of mental health treatment. I have specialized training in treating insomnia (CBT-I) and PTSD (CPT & PE), as well as anxiety, depression, brain injury and dementia. Although I do not offer neuropsychological evaluations through my private practice, I have the expertise to help clients understand the results or implement the recommendations of previously completed assessments. Please reach out to me for a free initial phone consultation to see if my approach and expertise is a good match for your needs. I do my best to create a compassionate, respectful, and supportive environment for all clients, whether it is a one-time phone conversation or regular sessions.
