I feel the main need of my clients is to gain a sense of control over their lives. They want to be happy and they want something to change, although simultaneously fear change at the same time. I collaborate with my clients to create experiences in the therapy room to instill insight. I believe people have more tools and resources than they realize. We will explore in therapy and be creative with how we will instill change. I believe that mental health is like physical health. Sometimes we just need a checkup and other times we have a serious injury that needs healing. However, healing happens! My therapy motto is that nothing is permanent, and that we as humans have great capacity to change! Let’s work together and make change happen!
