I work to provide people with a balanced sense of empathic understanding and an appreciation of their individual strengths. My work is centered on offering people a place of safety and security through which they can understand themselves better. I genuinely believe that this approach of treating people with respect and authenticity grants people the courage to grow, while also offering them the opportunity to value their current worth and worthiness. I focus on using a person-centered interaction with clients, while also offering psychodynamic exploration of the family structures which contribute to a person’s current behaviors. I also strongly value a cognitive-behavioral approach to therapy, in which I work to understand and explore people’s current evaluations of themselves and the world around them.
