Azita Hickey

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist working with adults in individual and couple’s therapy. I have extensive training in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, identity conflicts, sexuality concerns, and chronic pain. I specialize in individuals managing relationship difficulties, chronic stress, perfectionism, parenting, and finding personal balance. I have expertise in treating helping clients improve self-esteem and navigate change of life events, such as graduating school, job/career changes, breakups, and parenthood status changes. I welcome all genders and specialize in working with marginalized populations. I utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to help individuals adjust to major life transitions and/or manage current reactions to childhood and adult traumatic experiences. I strongly believe that everyone has the capacity for true positive change. My approach is customized to your unique goals & challenges to help you reach your potential. The best therapy is done when the patient and therapist have a strong working relationship. I believe that developing a safe, trusting relationship and working collaboratively creates an environment in which this change can happen more quickly and effectively.
