I am a relational expert that is highly trained in attachment theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy. This is a therapy that focuses on the needs of individuals, couples and families. It transcends all cultural and socioeconomic limitations because it addresses the basic human needs to feel loved and be connected to each other in relationships that flourish without finding blame or reducing each other to shame. The fault is in the negative cycles we create that never ask or answer the basic questions: Are you there for me? Have you got my back? Can I depend on you? EFT is scientifically validated approach to therapy for everyone. I work with all different kinds of family constellations as well as couples and individuals. EFT works extremely well with adolescents who question everything in their struggle to differentiate. As an ex teacher at the elementary, junior high, high school and college level, I can help families and individuals navigate school problems and the classroom. My style of therapy is collaborative and I work hard to build relationship with you in an empathic and understanding way. I am honored when a client invites me along their path of growth and understanding. Together we ask good questions and find the answers at a pace that makes sense to you. Body, mind and soul are all a part of good mental health.
