I specialize in LGBT/transgender issues and schizophrenia. Being an active advocate and ally in the LGBT community since 1993, I can assist with coming out (work, school, family/friends), HRT/GCS referrals, finding resources, gaining confidence, building your support system, and any/all aspects of transition. I welcome those who are PULSE affected. Clients with schizophrenia will find my treatment methods non-conventional, direct but gentle, and respectful. Parents/caregivers are welcome and encouraged also. Whether you are trying to figure out where you fit on the transgender scale or feel ready to transition, I can help. If you are ready, I can assist with referrals for HRT, GCS, and resources. My role is a supporter and cheerleader, not a gate-keeper. I don’t treat the diagnosis of schizophrenia as “doom and gloom”. You can live a productive, purposeful life! SPEKTRUM Health is a safe space for you to come and get the help that you need. While I specialize in LGBT and schizophrenia, I can treat a myriad of mental health issues including, but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, personality disorders, and much more. I do not “accept” you, I “celebrate” you.
