Therapist Overview
Life can throw curveballs and make day to day tasks challenging and feel overwhelming. By choosing to go to therapy, you are making an investment in yourself. Whether you feel depressed, anxious, lost, or like nobody quite gets what you’re going through, I will do my best to meet you where you’re at and help you sort things out to reach where you want to be. Nobody wants to feel alone or not heard. I’m compassionate, a great listener, but also will call you out on the issues you’re avoiding when you need that push. I understand the unique challenges of military culture and how transitions can impact a person’s life. I have experience in working with adolescents and parents during the often- turbulent years of self-discovery and self- expression. I work with individuals of all ages, couples, and family therapy. I’m a trauma informed clinician and offer tools to help manage when it feels like you’ve lost control. A main part of my focus has been in working with individuals who have suffered trauma, whether it be relational or by outside forces such as accidents or military duty. As someone who has been close to the military culture most of my life, I feel strongly pulled to help others in the community.
