As a clinical psychologist my clinical interests have evolved during my years of experiences and research with delinquent youth; conflicted family systems; and underserved low-income, geriatric, and at-risk populations. These experiences have increased my familiarity with children, adolescents and adults from diverse ethnic, racial, socioeconomic backgrounds and sexual orientation. I bring my unyielding groundedness to my higher self, innate empathy, compassion, genuine concern, and profound connectedness to the environment and people. I am able to connect with individuals on a very deep level. I believe in the holistic healing. I’m a well-traveled individual with experience in many diverse cultures and backgrounds. My clinical training has been firmly grounded in client centered, biological, & cognitive behavioral theory. I’m committed to the integration of practice and science, present in the here-and-now, exceptionally aware of what is happening through attunement & connectedness I can identify resilience & strengths in clients that’s used as the foundation for positive & productive client change helping them feel empowered in situations that may have once seemed stressful, hopeless, defeating, or overwhelming. I establish cooperative environments nurturing the exchange of ideas, awareness of experiences & expertise in the process.
