Therapist Overview

While anxiety can motivate and protect us, it can also become an overwhelming presence that may lead to some challenges. You may find that your anxiety prevents you from doing the things you want to do, achieving your goals, enjoying your relationships, and succeeding in school or at work. In an attempt to cope with and decrease anxiety, you may find that anxiety actually grows and becomes stronger. Through a supportive and collaborative environment, I would like to help you develop the skills needed to change your relationship with anxiety and gain back control of your life. I specialize in OCD, anxiety disorders, body-focused repetitive behaviors, and Tourette’s Syndrome. I utilize evidence-based treatments in my work with clients, which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT). I also include aspects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
