Eclectic Psychotherapy uses various techniques and theoretical orientations from other forms of therapy to serve clients best. It’s a flexible form of counseling also called “integrative” or “multimodal.”

While most therapeutic techniques emphasize the client’s specific problem, these therapists can approach the client’s problems with a wide array of options for treatment because a certain approaches’ techniques don’t constrain them.
