It also includes conflict resolution, easing frustrations from peers, parents, and teachers that may arise due to inattention. And, finally, motivation to increase a child or adult’s confidence in completing tasks that they may be hesitant to do due to a history of failure. Therapists guide in other counseling interventions that may include practicing time management skills and using mindfulness techniques to help with impulse control.
