I understand that the first step towards seeking therapy and counseling can be a difficult one, therefore my goal is to make the process as welcoming as possible. Positive changes through therapy can include an increase in self-esteem, a decrease in negative symptoms, improved communication skills and enhanced relationships. I believe that every person has the potential to reach his or her highest level of happiness in life. I am skilled in working with an array of issues including emotional dysregulation, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and relationship issues. I work with children ages 5-11, adolescents, college students and young adults. I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Strength-Based techniques. I emphasize building a warm, safe environment for clients to process their emotions, thoughts and stressors. My goal is to provide a place for people to heal. Once life experiences are processed in therapy, there is space for relief, acceptance, and empowerment. I consider it a privilege to be a part of another’s healing journey.
