My goal is to provide space and empathy for your life. My experience has been built in transitions including grief, chronic illness, aging, caregiving stress, and end-of-life. I feel strongly that each client is their own expert to their own journey and that my role as a therapist is to meet the client where they are at in that story and establish a safe relationship of listening without judgement. I also have worked with adolescents and adults dealing with depression, anxiety and other adjustment-based needs. My approach is client-centered & integrative, using tools of active listening, validation, goal setting and problem-solving. I am influenced by multiple theoretical approaches, including Narrative, Cognitive Behavioral and Mindfulness based work. I also have certifications in Gerontology and Hospice and Palliative Care. I would very much appreciate the opportunity to learn more about you and your goals and visit about how we can work together to achieve positive growth and benefit.
