You are not broken and you do not need to be fixed. There are some struggles in which you need extra support, an empathic person to hear you, skills and techniques, and a space in which to be you. I am a clinician who has worked with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, substance use, crisis, and family. I have worked with primarily youth and adolescent teens, but have also worked with adults. My approach is to connect with the client while also implementing research based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Focus, Experiential, and Dialectical behavior therapy. My main goal is to collaborate with the client and establish therapeutic goals that pertain to their overall treatment while also encompassing life ambitions. I feel it is important to help clients understand themselves physically and emotionally so as to identify triggers, emotionally regulate, and understand when to utilize coping skills and self care. Build up your strengths, self esteem, and empower yourself by having the support and tools at your disposal. I am a firm believer in creating a foundation that will allow the client to reach all intended life and mental health goals.
