Therapist Overview
My goal is to help people who have a sense of being ‘other’ feel more comfortable. Maybe you have felt different because of your life experiences, your family, how you process information, or a trauma you experienced. Maybe things don’t seem to go the way you think they should and you aren’t sure why. Whatever brings you to therapy, I will meet you with compassion for your pain, respect for how you got to your current situation, and a certainty that together we can help you make changes, feel better, and create the sort of life you want. I have 20+ years experience with talk therapy, play and expressive therapy, and neuropsychological evaluation. My recent studies include a three-year certificate program in Somatic Experiencing and ongoing training in EMDR. In the safety of psychotherapy we will use a variety of approaches to help you feel comfortable and make the changes you seek.
