Therapist Overview

Lasting change is possible through a therapeutic relationship that is safe, collaborative, nonjudgmental, and engenders openness and trust. Our work together also values your uniqueness and specific goals. The client-therapist relationship is a chance to try new ways of thinking and feeling, being heard, understood and knowing yourself in a profound, new way. Psychodynamic therapy explores how thoughts and feelings that may be outside of our awareness can cause problems such as relationship difficulties, unmet potential, anxiety, depression, low self esteem and other challenges. Unconscious thoughts and feelings affect how we think, feel, and behave even if we put them out of mind. My clinical training is in Psychodynamic psychotherapy, EMDR, and complex trauma. I value working with diverse clients to improve how you feel about yourself, relate to others, cope with stress, gain insight and more adaptive approaches to mental health challenges to live your authentic life.
