The below list represents mental health professionals who have achieved the status of National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Through the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc. (NBCC), NCCs meet examination-based professional certification. These requirements will include:

  • Master’s degree from a CACREP-accredited degree program or a counseling program that is an institutionally accredited institute
  • 100 hours of post-graduate counseling in a minimum of 24-month period
  • Endorsement from a professional colleague who holds a mental health master’s degree
  • 3,000 hours of post-graduate counseling in a minimum of 24-month period
  • Passing NCE score or NCMHCE score

Stephanie L. Sullivan, MS, LPC, NCC

Stephanie L. Sullivan is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey. Clients can be seen at Sullivan Counseling Services either in-person at our office in Howell, NJ or via Telehealth services. Stephanie is certified in both Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and trained in play therapy.
