Cheryl Lynn Hall

My special interests include Trauma-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. Although I enjoy working with people of all ages, I especially delight in working with adolescents and adults. When working in school-based settings, I utilize a team approach with school personnel and work closely with parents and staff to ensure that students’ needs are met. My therapeutic approach is person-centered. I seek to help individuals and families identify how the past affects the present, endeavoring to build on that foundation in order to find insight, understanding and a preferred “new story”. I am a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist. I have been active in NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), where I trained in Family Group facilitation and co-led weekly support meetings for families of those affected by mental illness. I am a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
