I believe that each client is the expert on how they feel, although finding that wonderful place of self knowledge can be a difficult journey. As a therapist, I see myself as an active member of a team which consists of my client(s) and myself. Our teamwork will focus on client identified goals related to self improvement and growth. I am open to seeing clients ages 16-90+. I have worked with a wide variety of issues, and I support the diversity of the people I see in my work as a therapist. I have worked with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, coming out, and family and relationship issues. I have worked for years with GLBTQ folks, and have been very supportive of people recovering from substance abuse. One of my top priorities is to help people feel more comfortable with their feelings and their uniqueness. I work hard to create a supportive and open environment for my clients and the work at hand.
