Anxiety. Depression. Relationship problems. These are just a few reasons why people might seek psychological help. But whatever reason brings a person to psychotherapy, I believe there is one need that is universal: to be treated with dignity and care in a safe space. In addition to my doctoral degree, I have certificates in Behavioral Medicine and Gerontology. I also take pride in my life experience prior to becoming a psychologist: twenty-plus years in the corporate world. I have raised children. I have travelled. And my life experience informs my work with each of my clients. I firmly believe, and have taught for years, that building a collaborative relationship with the client is essential to successful psychotherapy. I work especially hard to create this relationship with each person who comes through my door.
