Laura Schulkin-Parnell

She graduated from the University of San Francisco, where she began working with school-age children and families through the USF Center for Child and Family Development. Laura also worked with children and adolescents in group homes and with the children of domestic abuse survivors. Some of her Laura’s area of specialty and interest include: mindfulness, parenting, relationship issues, life transitions, family issues, marital issues, grief and loss, depression, anxiety and stress, LGBTQ issues, self- esteem, cognitive behavioral therapy, self-harm and coping skills. Laura has served as a Guidance Counselor, Director of Guidance and Counseling and Associate Dean of Students at local private schools, while maintaining a private practice. She holds a safe space for you to explore and discover the best solutions, while recognizing patterns and overcoming barriers.
