I have a relational approach and I will provide a non-judgmental environment to process your concerns and stressors and we will jointly decide on a path to finding resiliency and strength for better coping. I specialize in Trauma Informed Practice and I utilized modalities such as EMDR, mindfulness and somatic or cognitive based therapies. I also utilize Play Therapy for work with children. We can decide on what relationship based healing modality will work best for you, your child(ren), your family or your relationship. I like to bring your own insights to the forefront and will be gentle and yet direct in my communication. My specialty is working with those who have experienced stress, trauma, attachment and relationship difficulties across the life spectrum. EMDR can be helpful in finding patterns or experiences in life that are causing distress in the present. I have experience in working with those who have experienced racial and generational trauma. As a therapist I will honor and respect the individuality of each person and will work collaboratively with you to find healing in your life.
