Therapist Overview

I’ve made my work helping individuals navigate how to connect and reclaim parts of themselves they may have thought were lost to anxiety, stress, low motivation, depression, chronic pain, or anger and resentment. We are all human and none of us choose hardship, and yet we still experience it. Distress and pain are part of the human experience. It’s what we do with these experiences that is important. I work with my clients to help them find their way through life’s obstacles and make change that is consistent with their values – what really matters to them. My approach to therapy and counseling is holistic and strength-based. I see each person as a whole and capable of change. You are the expert on your own experience and I work collaboratively with you to build upon your existing strengths, as well as introduce new skills and strategies to help you take meaningful steps towards your goals and values. I provide evidence-based treatments adapted to fit my client’s specific needs. I enjoy using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (including mindfulness-based strategies), and Compassion-Focused Therapy to help my clients meet their goals. Please reach out if you’re interested in learning more or meeting with me.
