Blakely Madison Hunze

I am a Nashville native with a caring, driven personality. I stick by my clients no matter the challenges and difficulties that they face. People take themselves too seriously far too often. It is my goal to challenge my clients as well as to provide a space where they can unapologetically be themselves. I am realistic and unafraid of a challenge. I am experienced in treating adolescents and adults facing trauma, substance abuse, addictions, and behavioral concerns such as performance anxiety. My drive is to empower my clients to find their own voice and inner strength again. I obtained my Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in addictions from Lipscomb University. I also attended Middle Tennessee State University for my Bachelor’s degree where I studied Anthropology while concentrating in forensic anthropology and archaeology. Previously, I worked in a psychiatric hospital specializing in patients with thought disorders. I have experience working with adolescent males struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, and I have also practiced in an inpatient setting that utilizes the 12-Step program.
