Haley Britton

I believe in using therapy as a means to help people find the tools within themselves to move toward positive mental health and overall wellness. I believe in support over solution; in walking with someone to face their unique issues however they need rather than “fixing” them. As a social worker, I consider the “whole person” and the systems impacting them to offer a positive therapeutic experience to every client and help them to feel seen, heard, and supported. I also bring my therapy dog for extra comfort. I am accepting new clients via telehealth. I have been working with people with I/DD and their families in various capacities for nearly a decade and I have seen time and time again that the mental health needs are written off as a symptom of their I/DD diagnosis. I also have significant experience with adults & children/teens with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ODD, and other mood disorders. I come to each client with a nonjudgmental, person-centered approach and I will do whatever I can to to help someone move closer to being their best self. I believe that each person deserves love, respect, and support no matter what. I am a fierce advocate for others and a relentless support for those who need it, and I am here to be that for each client.
