Since I began working in mental health in 2009, I’ve wanted to help folks connect and heal. I am a psychotherapist who is down to earth, open minded, compassionate, empathetic, and will occasionally make you laugh. Struggles in self-esteem, identity, difficult life changes, relationships, and transitions are worthy of support. I have extensive experience with folks struggling addiction, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and the behavioral struggles that come along the way. I am ‘intensively trained’ by Behavioral Tech in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, DBT, which I use in DBT informed sessions as appropriate. I have a strong interest and experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community. Whether you are seeking therapy that has anything to do with that part of your life or not, you will have someone who is skilled in that area. I work full time at the detox and psychiatric facility Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, CT working with multidiagnostic adults and adolescents in the residential programs.
