Lynn K Burkett

I grew up in a small town in West Tennessee, lived in and around Nashville since 1978, and moved to Clarksville in 2014 as an empty nester for a job with the military. I have worked in mental health since 2000, and have been licensed as a professional since 2006. I raised one special needs child, mostly as a single parent, who also plans a career in mental health. The passionate drive I had as a parent drove me to pursue and practice the tools of the trade. Now I get to share the same tools with other children, their parents, and adults. I have a wide range of experience working with everything from toddlers to adults. I am licensed to do psychological testing for a variety of purposes. As a result, I am a “solution focused” therapist who is oriented to quickly identify and target problem behaviors that stand in the way of living life to its highest potential.
