Therapist Overview

I believe that we all have the ability to heal. Together in a supportive and safe environment, we will work as a team to create healthy habits and develop an individual and sustainable path for well-being. We will work experientially to learn effective tools to manage life’s difficulties more positively. I am a strength-based therapist helping individuals and families make positive and long term changes in their lives. My hope when working with you is to help encourage and develop self-acceptance, discipline, resilience, empowerment, and a zest for healthy living. Each session we will work together on the goals we have established. I use a variety of experiential approaches that incorporate mindfulness practices for stress reduction, anxiety, depression, anger, fear, sleep issues, and distorted thinking. I am trained in fine arts, theater, dance, and yoga and find these modalities effective for growth and healing. Working with kids and families for over twenty years in educational settings, on retreats, and in experiential and professional workshops, I am passionate about helping individuals connect to themselves deeply to find joy and happiness and overall life success.
