I have found success working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and complex trauma. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, prospective clients must be willing to meet via a secure online platform. My approach to counseling is very strengths-based, and it usually involves helping individuals become aware of attributes they’ve always had but for various reasons never realized. I make use of a variety of therapeutic techniques along the way and keep the process a collaborative effort. I truly believe it’s a privilege to be a mental health counselor because people are entrusting me to help them with the most fragile parts of their lives. During our first meeting, it’s important for a new client to consider if they feel heard by me and if I’m someone they can build a trusting relationship with.
