I love working with adults and teens who are struggling with worry and sadness and want to learn how to confidently become their true, authentic selves. I would describe many of my clients as empathic and highly sensitive people. They have a multitude of strengths, including the ability to feel deep compassion for others and to think critically about the world we live in. But my sensitive clients can also struggle with feeling hopeless about our society and can develop low self-confidence stemming from being misunderstood and focusing so much of their time and attention on other people. I work to help clients express their true selves and find inner peace. My approach to therapy is holistic and evidence-based. I teach skills to help you to cope and use mindfulness to get in touch with the “root cause” of your suffering, which can be anything from an unhelpful thought pattern to an unexpressed emotion. I know about the uncertainty and hopelessness that comes with being disconnected from your center and wanting more out of life. I am also grateful to know something about healing. I share this with the intention of giving you permission. To be vulnerable and to be human–all in the pursuit of the wholeness you deserve. I look forward to meeting you.
