Mental Health. It is the glue that holds our spirit, mind and body together. Being healthy mentally, second only to water and food, is vital for us. What can cause our mental health to suffer illness? Answer: “Life.” We all have only one to live, it is how we choose to live it that matters. Life is too short to allow ourselves to be robbed of our time and experiences by a mental illness. Our lives can be a fulfilling journey full of light or, adrift in an darkness of mental illness. You, as the captain of you life’s ship determine the direction you go. Look for and steer towards the lighthouse. I use a mix of psycho-education and behavioral therapy; both cognitive and rational emotive, as well as other methods or theories. I not only help clients manage their illness but also understand it and themselves, In a safe and nurturing environment. Each of us deserve and have the right to give ourselves the best possible life we can. The way to achieve that is through good mental health.
