I love working with children, and adolescents. Being a teenager during high social media culture alone has its own stressors and difficulties for families. My line of work with children and adolescent has taught me how strong, thoughtful and often times they internalize their feelings. I work with children who face multiple challenges at home/school from ADHD, life transitions, separation/divorce, anxiety, substance use, depression, loss, relationship/bully issues and more. Worrying about your child’s mental and emotional well being can be painful. I’m here to strengthen kids in ways to use healthier and manageable coping skills. I understand children and youth from their setting at schools and in classrooms. I have an insight to child behavior of 10+ years experience working with k-12 with various behavioral issues and circumstances. My therapeutic insights derives from working with kids in settings from Eugene, Cape Town, to Manhattan, Brooklyn, and most recently McMinnville. Each child is very unique, with their own interest and challenges. I focus on listening to them, understanding them from their perspective, affirming, and providing meaningful information for change and growth. I have had the honor and privilege to engage with families of different circumstances, ages, cultures, sexual orientation, non-binary and faiths.
