As a mental health counselor with experience in the substance abuse field, I like to meet a client where they are in their journey. Clients are encouraged to bring any concerns to the table to be addressed and processed. I feel that a strong therapeutic bond is the center of growth in therapy, which is what I try to accomplish with clients. Relationship issues, family problems, mental health concerns, substance abuse issues are all worth attention and deserve help. I treat every client with dignity and respect because every person deserves support. I welcome anyone who is interested in working toward a resolution to their concerns. I have experience in the field of substance abuse with my employment history involving inpatient rehabilitation, Suboxone clinics, and a Methadone clinic. My employment history also involves experience with individuals with traumatic brain injuries and working with children and adolescents. As a targeted case manager, my role is to provide support for individuals to meet their basic needs to have a better outcome in counseling. In my role as a counselor, I provide a safe therapeutic environment to invite you to work through issues together, meeting you where you are emotionally as well as identifying inner strengths throughout the process.
