I am a licensed psychologist specializing in individual and family therapy in the Vinings/ Smyrna/ North Atlanta area – more specifically I work with children (10+), adolescents, younger adults, and their families. While I have experience assisting clients with a variety of issues, my areas of expertise include: High Functioning Autism, Substance Abuse, Anxiety, Depression, and Trauma-Related Problems. It is important to understand that low self-esteem, social anxiety, peer difficulties, and behavioral issues are common manifestations of the aforementioned problems as well. When working with clients I use an integrative approach. This means that I may use a variety of different tools and approaches depending on the unique needs of the client. In my work with clients I consider the role of the mind-body connection and am a strong proponent for healthy life-style choices in all areas. Life presents challenges. My goal is to help client’s meet those challenges in a way that they are truly satisfied. My ultimate hope is to improve the quality of my client’s life so that when they no longer require services they feel better equipped to enjoy life.
