Therapist Overview
**CURRENTLY OFFERING TELEHEALTH** I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), NC License #1697. I am also an Integrated Therapist, which means I draw from traditional (evidence-based), nontraditional (psychobiology) and nonphysical (spiritual, not religious, and nonmaterial) approaches as part of the counseling session. I work with adults, couples, and families facing various challenges and misunderstandings. My approach is strengths-based, focused on what’s right with you and will support you to reinforce the bridge between logic–“what I should do” and heart–“what I want to do”. Sessions typically consist of working together to help you develop your goals and objectives and to recognize how your thoughts, feelings and behaviors become patterns that no longer serve you. Once these patterns are identified, the primary focus will be on the solution–learning new skills to create safe and secure relationships with yourself and others! How will you know when you are ready for counseling? Your thoughts, feelings and behaviors will guide you. You already know when something doesn’t feel right. The strongest resources humans have available are found from within and those resources will *never* judge or shame. I look forward to working with you to explore what’s right with you!
