Therapist Overview
( English | νκ΅μ΄ ) We all are facing challenging situations in our lives, however it can be tremendously helpful if we have a therapist who can provide a trusting relationship in order to resolve those difficult moments. As a therapist, I can support and help clients with an objective and wider perspective. Given my previous clinical experiences of more than 15 years as a medical doctor and psychiatrist in South Korea, I am able to diagnose and approach mental health issues in the best scientific way possible by using a psychiatric knowledge base. I am also currently involved in the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute, which helps me to develop a critical understanding in the root causes of a client`s personal issues. In addition to my degrees of MD and MS, Masterβs degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan enables me to think about the larger environment and networks around the client. Integration of my diverse backgrounds into my current practice helps me to provide a broad perspective yet an individualized approach for each client. My goal as a therapist is to help clients to understand and resolve their issues that are interfering with achieving their life goals. I am here to create a safe space for my clients to reach these goals. μ κ° μ£Όλ‘ κ΄μ¬μ κ°μ§λ λΆμΌλ μ°μΈμ¦(depression), λΆμμ₯μ (anxiety), μ¬λ¦¬μ μΈμ(trauma), λμΈκ΄κ³λ¬Έμ (relationship issues), μμ€ λ° μ λ (grief and loss), λΆλͺ¨λκΈ°(parenting), μΈμμ λ³ν(life transitions), μμ‘΄κ°κ²°μ¬(self-esteem issues) λ± μ λλ€.
