I believe that people have an inherent right to feel joy, contentment, satisfaction with their quality of life and to have the skills necessary for managing and dealing with major events, emotions, and difficult circumstances in healthy ways. I believe that people are doing the best they can in any moment given the knowledge, developmental stage, abilities and experiences that have shaped them. Each person is unique and deserves to be supported and respected to enrich their life with new possibilities, growth and change. It takes courage to reach out for help, and I am here to help guide you to better results and outcomes. I bring 28 years of experience working with children, teens and adults. I bring wisdom, humor, accountability, integrity, competence and passion to my work and am dedicated to high standards and expectations in the profession. My goal is to create safety and provide tangible interventions to produce desired results and outcomes to improve people’s lives. If you are struggling with grief, abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, mood disorders, behavioral problems, self harm or relational challenges, you do not have to suffer silently or feel alone. Mental health issues are real; their impact is felt deeply, and can be intrusive, disruptive and difficult. Now is a good time to begin to heal.
