Therapist Overview

There are few areas in life where we feel truly understood and accepted as our whole selves. Therapy can provide an opportunity to be heard and seen, which can help us to understand and accept ourselves. When we improve our relationship with ourselves there is a ripple effect that can be felt in all areas of our lives. I approach therapy as a partnership between client and therapist, collaboratively creating a space for my clients to safely explore past and present experiences. I believe the role of the therapist is to support and hold space for clients to find the answers they seek within themselves and to witness their truth. I work with individuals, adolescents, and families. I focus on and have experience treating trauma related symptoms and disorders, anxiety, depression, attachment disruptions, family conflict, survivors of childhood abuse, survivors of sexual assault, as well as loss and grief. I am trained in EMDR therapy. The decision to begin therapy is a courageous one. I invite you to give yourself the space to explore yourself, be heard, be seen, and find peace.
