I enjoy working with adults struggling with a wide range of concerns including life transitions, grief, shame, family issues, anxiety, depression, as well as boundary and relationship problems. I believe change happens in a calm and safe environment with a therapeutic relationship based on trust and compassion. My goal is to work collaboratively with clients and to use evidence-based skills [e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure & response prevention (ERP), trauma-informed therapy] as well as more holistic approaches (e.g., mindful meditation, self-compassion) to tailor treatment to meet each individual’s needs. After graduating with a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan, I completed a 2-year intensive training program at Michigan Medicine for treatment of anxiety disorders in adults. I was a psychotherapist at Michigan Medicine’s Anxiety Disorders Clinic from 2015 until January 2020. I am now in full time private practice in Ann Arbor. I work from a client-centered, strengths-based perspective. I am flexible in integrating a variety of therapeutic strategies to suit each client’s needs.
