Therapist Overview

I understand the anxiety often associated with going to a therapist for the first time. There are times in life we all could benefit from talking with a professional trained to help us process difficult emotions. In a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive therapeutic partnership, I incorporate a variety of methods to help clients problem-solve and work through challenges to a better mental health. I am a licensed therapist, with additional training in trauma. I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and Sensorimotor Therapy to address trauma in adults, adolescents, and children. I have experience working with children dealing with anxiety, exhibiting behavioral and school difficulties, and those with developmental disabilities. I often consult with school personnel when parents request. I work with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and adjustment to stressful life transitions and health challenges.
