Play is the natural language of children. It is how they learn, how they communicate and how they experience life. I work with children, adolescents and young adults – ages 5 through 21 – to help them work through trauma, learn ways to cope with anger, depression and anxiety and to adjust to changes in their lives. I utilize play and art therapy techniques to help young people learn to navigate through the challenges in their lives. They learn to express their thoughts and feelings in an appropriate manner, cope with intense feelings, and make better choices in the future.
