Therapist Overview
Now is the time to reach out for support. The world is too challenging to navigate alone and I have great respect for anyone who takes the leap to try therapy. I see clients across the lifespan, with a particular focus on young adults. Drawing on my background teaching & working in Higher Ed, I have helped students & their families navigate the transition to college, college and graduate students tackle the many challenges that arise (from roommates to dissertations!), and recent graduates figure out life post-college. I further specialize in anxiety, depression, teen/adult ADHD, relationship stressors, & life/career transitions. My work as a certified mindfulness teacher shapes my approach—I am a compassionate, open-minded, & non-judgmental therapist with a warm presence & sense of humor. My training in DBT, AEDP, trauma-sensitive mindfulness, polyvagal theory, & the Safe & Sound Protocol further helps me guide clients in developing skills to reduce suffering & increase connection. I have a creative, strengths-based, & relational approach—my aim is to help you see yourself in a more expansive way and address blocks that are preventing you from reaching your goals. If you’ve ever felt frustrated that what “should” work hasn’t, in therapy or other settings, I am here to help you explore other solutions. Together, we’ll figure this out.
