Therapist Overview

I work with adults who are struggling with challenging moments in their life and may be experiencing depression, anxiety or general unease. I believe that the therapeutic relationship can provide support to a person, and the therapeutic work can lead to healing traumas from the past. I believe in building resilence and strengths in the present by working with the body, the emotions and thought patterns. Creativity, mindful awareness of what is happening in the moment, and honoring a person’s experience are the foundation of my therapeutic approach. I am trained as a mental health counselor. I have additional training in EMDR, psychodrama, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I welcome you to reach out and call me with questions. It is important to find a counselor who is a good fit for you. This needs to be someone who you would feel comfortable sharing your most challenging experiences. I believe in the process of counseling and the hope that it can bring to a person’s life.
