Healing is a non-linear process that can take many different shapes and forms. I believe that each individual can find resilience and growth in the face of painful experiences and systemic injustices through internal strength and community support. My goal as a therapist is to empower and co-construct a therapeutic space for clients to explore the healing process through a strengths-based, non-judgmental, and intersectional approach to psychotherapy. My social justice focused and LGBTQ+-affirming clinical approach is informed by applying anti-oppressive frameworks in challenging traditional approaches to psychotherapy. I have experience working with LGBTQ+ youth and adults, people of color, and families in navigating depression, anxiety, and trauma in relation to environmental stressors and oppression.
