Therapist Overview

Do you find yourself becoming overwhelmed by anxiety? You may notice your chest feels tight and your mind races from one thought to another. At times we can be our own worst critic. Anxiety sometimes interferes with a person’s ability to connect with others or to feel safe while in public places. I provide a non-judgmental approach in therapy, while utilizing evidenced-based practices, for people to overcome their social anxiety and panic while in public places. I encourage clients to work through negative thoughts about themselves and the world in order to build self-esteem, increase confidence and to create a sense of well-being. I would be happy to provide a phone consultation in order to determine if I would be a good fit for you or to provide other resources in the community. I also offer couple and family counseling. I am available for weekday evening and Saturday appointments.
